FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE St. Paddy's Day Party This SaturdayHenderson Seniors Sound the 'Come All Ye!!' 03/11/2007 -- Henderson, NV- A St. Patrick's Day to remember is on tap Saturday March 17 at the Henderson Senior Center 27 E. Texas Ave. Henderson from 12:30pm til 4:00pm. Everyone is invited to come for free Irish Music, free Boxes of Candy (while supplies last), and an eat-in or take-out corned beef and cabbage luncheon (suggested donation $3.00 adults, $1.50 children under 10). There will be a bake sale featuring cakes and homemade Irish Soda Bread, sales of raffle tickets and novelty photos along with free coffee, tea, and socializing. The meal Consists of Corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes or macaroni & cheese, green beans, and fruited or sugar-free Jell-o. For those who can't com, sorry, we can’t deliver our Corned Beef and Cabbage, but our Meals on Wheels Program is available to Henderson residents who are 60 years of age or older and are homebound. If you know someone in this situation, please call us on 267-4160. Suggested donation for these meals is $1.00 per meal.
